Stay tuned! 5 MONTH ANNIVERSARY!
Can you believe it? We've been running for over 5 and a half months now, almost going on for half a year, and we have no intentions of stopping. It's a new semester in both RL and on the site, so there is going to be plenty to do!
Locked with one of the hugest locks in the world, only a select few know the password to this board. It's meant for staffs' eyes only, and here we discuss what's best for the board.
Whether it be enemies, friends or lovers, everyone needs them and this is the place to go to keep them in your life. You don't want to be dull, after all.
We would all die without some way to contact the outside world. No matter what it is, you can find it here. Phone, myspace, twitter, etc. You know you can't live without it.
A gossip column led by a mysterious gossip columnist who goes by the pen name Laura No Lies. Whether she tells the truth or not is up to you, but Esperer functions off of the gossip posted by this infamous blogger.
Reminiscent of European gothic cathedrals, Esperer's entryway has a unique charm. The bottom floor houses the Chapelle along with other attractions and is commonly a meeting place for friends.
The meat of the school, the Premier Étage houses the most important aspects of student life such as the classrooms, library, etc. There's almost always a quiet space to study or maybe have a little mischievous fun.
With large windows grazing the ceiling, the Troisième Étage has the most impressive view of New York around. Always the warmest during the summer, the dorms are housed up here. To get to their rooms, students have to climb up one of two staircases spiraling of in opposite directions.
For that limited time between class, the Cour allows quick access to small boutiques and quiet coffee houses. The school side of this street is home to some of the greenest plants and various fountains, earning the street its name.
One of the only reliable aspects of New York, the subway is always on time. Some rather odd characters tend to hang around the stations, but avoiding the infamous New York traffic makes it all worth it.
Typically New York's main tourist draw, Broadway is known all over the world. Any show business hopefuls tend to flock to the wide street, praying that they will get their big break soon. With the bright lights and fast paced traffic, it's New York at its best.
Good luck finding an apartment among these swanky pads. The high rises above this business street are incredibly expensive. On the ground floor, various shops and attractions match the melting pot nature of the country it resides in.
This well-known park is always populated with at least a few native New Yorkers. The giant expanse of green among New York's cold corporate shadow is a welcome relief. It houses a few attractions such as the giant lake and an older ampitheatre.
The center of NYU is its Washington Square campus in the heart of Greenwich Village, one of the city's most creative and energetic communities. The campus in itself is like a historic neighborhood that has attracted generations of writers, musicians, artists, and intellectuals
Not everybody can afford the prices of an apartment in Brooklyn. And they certainly don't want to live at home with mom and dad! For cheaper living minus mom and pops, many of the students of NYU board in the dormitories. There is both a graduate hall and an undergraduate hall so there is a bit of everything for everybody.
You want freedom, you want a say in your roommates, and it's the start of living life on your own. Not only are you in college, which could easily make or break the rest of your life, but you have the option of having your own apartment. Or maybe you're a sorority sister, loyal to your sisters and living under the same roof as them. But living with friends can cause conflict, and no one is a fan of being lonely, there is bound to be drama even away from school.
So, the ever competitive teams and clubs of Esperer are ready to have their sectionals, invitationals, and of course the big games and competitions! Are you involved or just a spectator? Come join in!
One of the biggest plots in site history. With two groups going by the names of the Revolutionaries and the Nobility, people are clashing at every corner. In this board, anything related to this site-wide plot goes here. Which side are YOU on?
Since it's winter, and Laura No Lies didn't get to spend much time with the students of Esperer this summer, she's decided to host a pool party held at the Willington's Resort, a large resort that many tourists stay at while they stay in Esperer Heights. LNL has reserved it for students only, and who knows what's going to go down?
For those of you single on Valentine's Day, your very own Chastity McDowell has decided to throw a party for those ready to mingle. Set in Marquee, the locks and keys will be handed out at the door. The venue has been decorated to present a festive mood and all it needs is a couple good party people to set it afire. Will you find your match? Good luck.
